Uwaga chwalę się bezczelnie:
po miesiącach pracy ten @#$%^%$@ silnik zaczął wreszcie pracować...
I to jak! Gang ma taki że niech się schowają jakieś tam Zliny i Cessny.
Ostatni problem okazał się być uszkodzonym zapłonem CDI, aparat Mallory'ego via TeaTimeTuning załatwił sprawę do końca i bez swądu.

Jeszcze muszę "dogadać się" z mieszanką, poprawić oprzyrządowanie silnika - ale już latam.

Isn't it amazing what a few simple changes can do? It still amazes me after years of engine building that when you begin and have just a pile of parts that they can be bolted together and live and provide so much satisfaction.
Now we have powerful Bug engines on the road and in the air, all we need is powerful Bug powered boats.
Glad the Mallory worked well. There seems to be a rush for them at the moment in Poland. We've sold 4 in the past few weeks and nobody is asking for 009s- very good. I don't know why they are advertised as race distributors as they make the biggest differnce to an engine's performance at low rpm ( idle to 3000 rpm). This is the range you use so it would be perfect for your application. On the other hand I always used them in all my full race engines and, as opposed to my friends who used MSD, never had a failure. The Mallory I had in my race car I bought new 15 years ago and used for at least 100,000 with various engines. It then got used in my race car, which fell over at 180km/h, and is now in a Cabrio Beetle in Poland. The cap only came off once when the electronic ignition was fitted about 13 years ago.

but it wasn't few and not simple changes
and the parts was not just bolted tohether... was a lot of scribing, drilling, milling and welding too. As usual - heh, you know it better

Mallory work great and have good advance curve, really superb quality unit. Maybe in future will install an electronic ignition module. But now I'm still waiting for ignition coil and cables ordered via Marcy$... still nothing.
