Jestem szczęśliwym posiadaczem Mallorego z wkładka. Zakupiłem go z myślą o szybko wkręcającym się Typ1 1914ccm. Póki co Mallory jeżdzi w niewiele różniącym się od oryginału Typ1 1600ccm. Jestem z tego Aparatu bardzo zadowolony między innymi dlatego że wreszcie wykluczyłem kwestię zapłonu przy jakichckolwiek problemach z nierówną pracą i innymi dziwnymi objawami. Teraz wiem już na pewno po długim czasie ciągłej niepewności, że to wszystko wina tych beznadziejnych solexów, z których każdy jest gorszy od drugiego i nie sposób ich wyregulowac na dłużej niż 2-3 tygodnie. Teraz pracuję nad tym by przesiąść się na Dellortasy DRLA. Zakupiłem Mallorego idąc za radą Chrisa i Marcysia z Teatimetuning i nie żałuję. gorąco polecam, bo to conajmniej jeden problem z głowy, a poza tym prawda jest taka, ze albo coś jest dobre, albo jest tanie.

It's very easy to fit an electronic points conversion. Even if you have never done this before, it should take about 15 minutes. You need to remove the points and condensor and theses get replaced with the trigger which connects to the positive and negative side of the coil. This has the added benefit of doing away with the condensor which can also cause problems.

The Mallory works well in a standard 1600 as can be seen by Rebels experience. A 009 often has problems when fitted to a standard 1600 because of its' slow advance. The only way to experience the difference is to install both these distributors in the same engine, one after the other. People usually only install the Mallory in big, expensive engines because they want the best protection for their engine and that's great, but I have also noticed an improvement in otherwise standard engines just by changing to the Mallory especially if the advanve curve is accelerated even more than the factory setting with a set of lighter springs.
