It takes a Ford 9 inch R&P and I have a spool for it too. The gear sets are VW so that bit is easy. The R&P is about 50% bigger than a T1.

The gearbox does not have a special oiling system as it's for Drag racing and not for circuit racing. The main advantage is the size and strength of the Ford R&P as they are reliably used in V8 powered cars making thousands of hp and the standard R&P in VW gearboxes usually only lasts about 5 hard passes before being junk.
